My Babytime: Birth & Beyond is a weekly drop-in class offering support as you adjust to life as a new parent and also a gentle introduction into making new friends. 30th September : BoogieTime Baby & Sensory 7th October : Baby Massage 14th October : Baby Halloween Craft Keepsake and Photo Opportunity (Booking Required for this session only) What is "My Babytime: Birth & Beyond"? My Babytime understand how difficult those early days, weeks and months with a newborn can be and families and that attend a class with other parents who have babies a similar age can really help make a positive difference with parenting, mental health, and wellbeing. That is why we are bringing back our original “My Babytime Class” This was our flagship class 18 years ago and parents loved the opportunity to sit and chat, share stories and challenges without feeling judged. This is all washed down with a nice warm drink, our famous toast and sweet treats of course. These drop-in sessions give you the opportunity to support your baby’s development with our qualified professionals as over the weeks we facilitate all the different My Babytime classes that we run at Ruby’s Fund. These include Baby Massage, BoogieTime Music and Movement, Baby Yoga, Baby Sign, Sensory Play and Baby Crafts and Keepsakes. These classes are aimed at all parents with a baby under 12 months (it doesn't have to be your first child). The classes run on a Monday afternoon at Ruby’s Fund and as they are drop-in you can pick and choose which sessions you want to attend. We want you to feel relaxed and not rushed so each weekly session is for 1 hour 30 minutes and refreshments are available at the start of the class. Example of a weekly session - 1pm: Parents and babies arrive refreshments/toast/sweet treats available and time for you to socialise and settle in. Class leaders will make you feel welcome and introduce you to other new parents in the group. 1.30pm Taster session of either – Baby Massage, BoogieTime Music and Movement, Baby Yoga, Baby Sign, Sensory Play, Messy Play or we may do a baby craft keepsake activity. 2.15pm: Open group discussion facilitated by your class leader on topics of your choice (previous topics include sleep, feeding and the challenges associated with parenting) 2.30pm End of session The cost of each class is £8.50 and we welcome additional attendees at just £1 extra Check our Instagram or Facebook posts to see the activity for that week.
